Research reported today on a new media blog seems to underscore a couple of notions.

Of the thousands of pictures taken at Barack Obama’s Inaugural, few have the impact of the massive image knitted together from over 200 separate images and taken from the left side of the viewing area.
Over one in three adults now have joined a social network on the Internet during the past four years. These findings were revealed by the Pew Foundation following research by its Internet and Amrican Life project that showed eight percent of adults who have joined in to a social network had exploded to a 25 percent share by 2009.

Hello: I wanted to check-in to Birmingham all the way from Baltimore, MD (where we are staying).. My journey began on Monday January 19th: We flew out of Birmingham and landed in Baltimore welcomed by the cold, ice and snow. We ended our Monday night by traveling into Annapolis, to see the sight of were Kunta Kinte (Roots) was dropped off and attending a concert for an underground artist by the name of Eric Roberson at The Ram’s Head.
We’re going to learn about blogging as an experiment in this class. I’m learning right here with a first blog. Gotta start somewhere. No fancy but practical.
In the College Media Review’s recent package on Facebook. Lori Brooks wrote the main story, and advisers from across the country, including this one, provided sidebars, tips and additional info.
